This projects was given to me after an interview wherein I was asked to produce 3 book covers that will be published for social workers and schools. I was asked to produce book covers for a children's activity book that will help them to deal with bereavement and difficult emotional situations. Tasks such as this required deep research and reference into appropriateness and to ensure I was giving my employer what they were asking for, I kept strong communication sending them sketches and progress work until completion.
My process for creating these covers was to initially research the company I was creating them for, and this was important because a large part of their company is that they work within the catholic community and so the covers had to embrace this.
I developed on a couple of sketches and got them reviewed and confirmed by my employer, then continued on with them through full illustrations.
