About me

Dana is a business director and music expert with nearly a decade of experience working at the intersection of artistic vision and business strategy to bring high-profile campaigns and entertainment projects to life through music and sound.
Dana's journey into the field began early, graduating high school at just 16 and earning a Bachelor's in Music Business/Management from Berklee College of Music by the age of 20. At 21, she found her professional home at duotone audio group, an award-winning music and sound agency headquartered in New York with studios in Los Angeles and Mexico City, where her sharp business acumen, musical fluency, and relentless work ethic propelled her rapidly through the ranks and into a senior leadership position.

As Director of Music Licensing and Business at duotone, Dana leads music licensing, negotiations and business administration for high-profile projects with globally recognized brands such as Samsung, Verizon, Rolex, Google, 2K Games, and Airbnb, as well as TV and film projects, including HBO's The Undoing and critically acclaimed films like Book Club and I, Tonya.

As a proud Asian-American and working mom, Dana is a passionate advocate for underrepresented and under-supported groups in the music industry. Since 2020, she has served as Assistant Chapter Chair for Women in Music Boston, where she focuses on developing resources, creating networking opportunities, and executing professional events for marginalized communities and under-resourced youth. Dana is also a professional member of The Recording Academy, continuing her commitment to elevating diverse voices and advancing equity within the industry.
