I was commissioned by Naissance Technology, an IoT company in Saudi Arabia, to create a bespoke visual language for a smart city concept spanning five sectors: retail, housing, manufacturing, aviation and rail. The detailed isometric illustrations were designed to show the company’s technology in culturally sensitive, real-world settings while reflecting Naissance Technology’s ethos.

The Smart City brings the urban environment to life, showing how connected IoT products could support transport networks, city operators and infrastructure managers. The illustration highlights applications including traffic and congestion management, energy-efficient lighting and signage, crowd management, smart parking, smart transport services and intelligent energy generation. A blue-scale visual system creates hierarchy and draws attention to each technology within the wider city environment.
