Founded in 1947 as the retail arm of K. Hattori & Co. (1881), Wako has defined luxury in Ginza. Yet, with an aging clientele, the brand needed revitalization to connect its heritage with a new generation of customers. The B1 renewal embraces TIME THEATRE, merging tradition and future. Here, time has two meanings: Japan’s seasonal aesthetics and craftsmanship. We directed the renewal, designing the space, staff uniforms, communication strategy and more. The new B1 becomes a theater where these stories unfold. More than a store, Wako offers a cultural journey, blending heritage with innovation.
