D&AD London

ABOUT

Morning glories have particular significance in Japan because the observation of their growth is a standard part of the Japanese elementary school curriculum. Like morning glories, brands also must be carefully tended and nurtured to grow. Our design motif resonated with our audience by evoking a shared cultural experience of childhood, and focused attention on the unsung efforts of advertisers to grow their brands.
