About me

I have always been creative and love making things but it took me a while to take the plunge and go back into education where I completed an Access Course to find out which creative direction I wanted to go in. I really enjoyed Product Design and Modelmaking and by the time I had completed my first piece, a model of a Pepper Pot, I was completely hooked.

I enrolled on the NC Modelmaking course where I got my first taste of architectural modelmaking. Architecture is omnipresent; it allows us to see a vast range of styles, ideas and construction on a daily basis. One of my favourite pastimes is to go into Glasgow city centre and look up. The wealth of architectural detail is breathtaking, particularly the Victorian buildings which thankfully still dominate the city.

After now completing my HND in Modelmaking the world is my oyster and I am actively seeking experiences within the modelmaking industry.
