The elements of this digital collage, created from over 30 different images, have been sourced and compiled from various original printed materials dated between 1819 and 1851. All source material is taken from Matt's ever expanding personal collection of antiquarian and vintage books.

This piece is one of several from the "Commercium Craniorum" series, a contemporary study bearing reference to the 19th century anthropological hobby of collecting, studying and trading of skulls.
