As the clock ticks down to the next Annual 2023 deadline next week, we thought we’d answer a couple of the questions that we get asked the most from entrants.
#1 What is the difference between Judges' Scoring and People's Choice?
The Annual is the only creative industry award that gives you the chance to win twice!
The "traditional" way of winning comes from the judges scoring the work. We take an average of all the judges' scores to give you your final total. From this, we then give out Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards based on your score.
People's Choice is done by a community vote. There is only one winner in each category and this is where you can ask your networks to come and vote for you.
Both these awards are completely separate and one score in one does not affect the other!
#2. What do I need to have ready when I go to enter?
Entering work has 2 main parts:
1. Uploading your case study/project is as simple as adding work to your profile. Just follow this link.
2. To complete your entry you will need to complete the entry form. This form asks you to detail the brief, mediums, concept, execution and results.
When entering the "Of the Year" awards (Agency of the Year, Best Place to Work, etc.), this is also done in 2 parts:
1. Make sure that your profile is nicely up to date.
2. Submit your entry. You will need to have a synopsis of less than 1,000 words on why your company should be crowned with this award.
