Concept

Sky Store was the only home entertainment platform in Europe with Deadpool himself. I wanted to bring Deadpool into his own ‘personalised’ version of the Sky branded white world, and then populate the environment with sky store products, pop culture references and easter eggs that are relevant and engaging for the viewer i.e wolverine deadpool and my little pony figurines in the background. I also wanted to creatively play off the piece to camera by using a classic pop song in the promo such as Meatloaf ‘I would do anything for love’, as it would combine comedy and action as well as setting a strong tone for the playful nature of this genre of film.

Sky Store was the number one digital retailer for the release of the film (ahead of itunes, amazon etc)
Achieved sales target of 90,000 units in 3 weeks
Over 1 MILLION youtube hits
