Norwich based Jive Kitchen were looking for a design agency that could deliver a restaurant branding with a difference. In a busy market place they needed an authentic visual identity which stood out and established a memorable brand personality from the start.
The vibrant, ‘Jive’ offering was brought together through a strategic mix of Mexican street food, modern day urban culture and a twist of NYC 90’s vibes, the brand personality, tone and visual aesthetic were wrapped up in this one statement, everything else flowed from there. Brand colours and shapes play on Spike Lee movies and 90’s hip hop acts like De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest while the typography and illustration balances between this and a more Mexican vibe.
From the initial story telling through to the launch campaign and event Norwich based design agency Creative Giant developed the entire brand and visual identity across all digital, social and printed collateral, as well as working with the Jive Kitchen guys to advise them on signage, interior design and decoration.
