About us

The Creative Circle is the oldest advertising Awards body in the World. Set up in 1945 to promote better creativity in advertising and to also assist in the education of creativity in marketing. We are a not for profit organisation owned by the industries creative community. Run by creatives, for creatives.

We support the Creative Foundation with 100% of all membership fees and 10% of all award entry fees. The Foundation exists to support improving diverse representation in UK creative departments by supporting young creatives with their course fees and living costs.

The Creative Circle holds its annual awards ceremony in partnership with the UK Creative Festival that is held at Dreamland Margate each year. At the heart of the festival is a free to attend creative careers fair to introduce aspiring young creatives to the various creative opportunities in the creative industries. At the careers fair there are young creative advisors to support the attending young creatives on their pathway to a creative career.
