With Mamawawa's menu Crate47 were tasked with devising the visual branding for a concept 50's themed diner with a contemporary flavour.

Retro style hand lettering and cartoon drawings of food and drink were used throughout the design. By combining these elements to form a pattern for the backgrounds and using irregular shaped item boxes in bright pastel shades a look indicative of old school eateries with a fun, modern twist was created.
