About me

I consider myself to be a robust character. Innovative and creative, but, with a pragmatic approach that keeps me grounded and able to articulate concise ideas with the utmost clarity. While being enamoured with society and specifically the political discourse of the community around me, I have a measured approach to debate. I consider myself to be apolitical, therefore able to convey impartiality as the foundation of my work. I believe this to be essential in the contemporary world. With too many people willing to jump on the bandwagon of tribalism in its many forms, I consider this to be not only ignorant but also naive, a trait that is detrimental in the pursuit of truth. My epistemological beliefs are based on rationalism and empiricism, and from these beliefs, I feel I'm able to advance a hermeneutic approach to the study, recording and subsequent discernment of society.

While I am willing to take direction and follow certain leads, in regards to what is perceived as important or integral to cultivating an understanding of a myriad of topics concerning social and personal behaviours and trends, which in turn shape both society and the individual, I feel that an ability to seek out truths unescorted is one of my greatest strengths. Heuristic truth always seems more satisfactory, and as such being able to satisfy my own curiosity has always seemed particularly rewarding. After all, truth does not come to you, it must be sought.

If you take these traits and ally them with a strong desire to accomplish tasks with a degree of certainty and precision then you will come into contact with a formidable individual. Though I must stress one thing. I feel strongly about justice. As much as I do for equality. If need be I will insist that any and all are shown the consideration that is the privilege of the world we live in. If I can conduct myself with integrity then I see no reason why it should be reciprocated and distributed accordingly.

My aim in life, like so many before me, and so many alive today, is to make the world a better place. Failure to cast a critical eye is a failure to contribute to society, both locally and globally.
