About me

I am currently looking for a change in career and would like to secure the role of Copywriter.

My current role is as a Road Safety Officer; the purpose of which is to develop and deliver a child pedestrian training programme for children in Key Stage 1. This has been highly successful, with over 1,800 children benefiting from the scheme in its first year.

I have gained a vast amount of experience at producing copy for websites and publications for various road safety campaigns. Therefore I will not be going into this career path completely inexperienced. If you would like to see examples of my work then I will be more than happy to supply them.

As well as writing, I am also interested in design and although I do not have experience of working with software packages used in the design industry, I do have a will to learn and expand on the software skills that I currently have. My IT skills in Microsoft packages are highly proficient and I feel that these are transferable to software packages used in design.

My career has been and still is very rewarding and therefore I have not come to the decision to leave it without much contemplation. However, I do feel that I need a change and hope that you are in a position to facilitate that.
