About me
Hi,
My name is Courtney Pryce and I have been working in the Media Industry for the last 4years. My skills lie in the Post-Production field, but since narrowing my job role down to a Motion Graphics designer I would now like to pursue this field further with more mid-weight opportunities. I am also a skilled VFX Compositor and a competent Editor using most popular desktop programs for both Mac and PC such as FCP, Premiere, Sony Vegas, Combustion, Shake, Nuke, Fusion and After Effects.
I have a detailed knowledge of After Effects and Cinema 4D as my current role as a Digital Artist requires me to use them on a daily basis. I am skilled with Illustrator and Photoshop and I have worked with clients in the logo design, typography and company branding capacity.
My current role is re-versioning American blockbuster film title sequences for European cinema audiences. I have worked on projects such as Zombieland, Avatar, A-Team, Taking of Pelham, Wolfman, GI Joe etc. This is all Motion Graphics based that heavily relies on animation via Combustion, Cinema 4D and After Effects. A Versioning Showreel and also a demo on Zombieland that are available via my Vimeo account will demonstrate this better.
I have frequently had to work as support on various TV commercial projects and create alpha-layered straplines/logos and stings for composition into commercials on a regular basis. And I have also been required to take on complete projects for clients that I would oversee from conception to delivery, and everything in-between. I have a keen eye for detail and am very adept to Quality Control and Compliance regulations for broadcast. I also have extensive knowledge of digital delivery formats and various codecs and/or bitrates etc.
I have been formally trained as Apple certified DVD Studio Pro author and also to a Maxon certified Intermediate level in Cinema 4D.
I am interested in any opportunities that would allow me to develop my skills further. I have a passion for learning but I do thoroughly enjoy working on creative projects that allows me to exercise my imagination and design skills, Front End design work is definitely the path I would like to pursue.
I have a Vimeo video account (below) which has my latest Versioning showreel and also various other pieces of work including my Final Year short film which I almost entirely created and completed by myself, from the Pre-Production to Post. The Vimeo account will show examples of my Title Sequence abilities, Editing Skills through promos to short form work and also there are examples of my VFX work as well.
Thank You for your time,
Courtney Pryce
