About me

Having completed a three year diploma in Graphic Design at George Brown College in Toronto, Canada, where I specialized in Corporate and Editorial design, I have recently moved to the UK in order to pursue career orientated work in my field. I feel that my academic background coupled with an enthusiastic and active interest in design will stand me in good stead for a role within the company. I am completely confident working with the Adobe Suite, and able to adapt to new programs.

From my diploma I have built up a solid graphic design skill set that has been further developed through my work experience. Academically, I have always produced work notable for its originality and precision, and this was recognized when I was chosen to work on a select work/study program in my final year. This involved working on real community focused projects culminating in the production of a glossy concept publication. Through this program I gained valuable team experience and developed my communication skills by working on sensitive community issues such as gun crime and domestic violence. Alongside my academic work I was employed by a professional designer, working on design projects commissioned by non-profit organizations and through which I was able to take on several freelance & volunteer opportunities.
