A limited beer grown to the sound of 25 years of Liverpool football matches.
To mark the 25th anniversary of Carlsberg's partnership with Liverpool FC a very special beer was brewed. Plants are sensitive to light and sound, so we put it to the test, to see how we could effect the taste of beer with the unconditional love for football. Scientists at the Carlsberg Research Laboratory in Copenhagen have cultivated special red hop plants by immersing them in footage of 25 years of Reds matches and the sound of roaring supporters. The unique process was made possible by the installation of a powerful sound system and video screen displaying iconic LFC moments of the past three decades at the brewery’s Copenhagen greenhouse.
