ABOUT

The largest music event in Cyprus, Afrobanana Festival is a four-day community celebration of music and the arts, held in the scenic woods near Lefkara village. The 2023 edition embraced the theme of “Senses,” inviting participants to immerse themselves in a multi-sensory experience.

ace of bunnies was commissioned to create a promotional illustration that visually captured the essence of this theme. The poster design uses a minimal color palette of three tones: pink and red to represent human flesh and blood, and green ripples to symbolize the natural environment. Within these organic ripple shapes—reminiscent of tree trunk segments—two human figures are formed, caught in a moment of ecstasy, blurring the line between nature and the human experience.

This piece was adapted across various media for the festival’s promotional campaign, embodying the spirit of connection, sensation, and shared experience at the heart of Fengaros.
