NEW YORK: Conran Design Group New York, a global design agency with a 60-year heritage and part of Havas Health & You marketing network, will help Project HOPE (a leader in global health and humanitarian relief) celebrate its 60th anniversary at the Empowering Hands of HOPE Gala in Washington, D.C., with the official launch of its new global brand.

Conran New York led the recent rebranding efforts for Project HOPE, which has trained more than one million healthcare workers and delivered $3 billion+ in medicine and supplies to over 100 countries. Former first lady Laura Bush will serve as keynote speaker at the gala, which is set to take place at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium with 500 attendees expected. Heroes in global health, emergency response and humanitarian crises will be honored.

‘Many things have changed since Project HOPE was founded in 1958, and our logo needed to evolve as well’, said Tom Kenyon, M.D., M.P.H., CEO and chief medical officer at Project HOPE. ‘As we commemorate 60 years of delivering hope and healthcare, we are celebrating a renewed commitment to create a healthier future for the world, symbolized by the new HOPE brand that Conran Design Group New York has brought to life’.

‘The core of the new visual identity is the logo, which depicts two hands coming together to form an 'H’’, said David Keefe, managing partner for Conran Design Group. ‘The logo is meant to symbolize the power that lies in the hands of those who can make a difference, and a refreshed color palette embodies the organization's renewed sense of inspiration and optimism for the future’.
