ABOUT

Apple were a company I which had a lot of interest in when coming to the topic of package design. Therefore, I chose to do a limited edition design for Apple. This design is based around breast cancer and this was because I wanted to promote the design through a charity so that is would become more recognisable. To make it clear that the packaging was aimed towards breast cancer I decided to use the colour pink to highlight what the packaging was symbolising. I payed good attention when researching into the different packaging deigns Apple have done in the past and therefore noticed how they were becoming a more neater slick brand with everything they done, from their packaging to the products they were selling. As a result of this I didn't want to overcomplicate my design work and I wanted to keep it quite authentic and neat like the brand itself. Adding the ribbon next to the typography for me was another stand out feature when designing this packaging simply because it would make the customer aware of what the packaging stood for and how Apple would be supporting a charity helping people with breast cancer.
