The client came to me asking for a branding package, I asked her to create a moodboard for her branding including colours, fonts, specific elements. I also asked her questions such a what her target market were and what she would like specifically to see in her branding. I was then given a moodboard very much inspired by the 1970's, very bold colours and swirling shapes. Client advised that this was the mood she wanted her brand to represent - funky, happy, fun and bold. I then created the designs for my client and sent them to her for approval, she fell in love with it. She couldn't believe I had gotten it so right the first time. This resulted in a very happy client that has gone on to recommend me to many of her friends with businesses ( who have now booked in work with me).
