Arriva UK is a major bus operator covering routes across the United Kingdom. One of their key target audiences is students. Having moved away from Mum & Dad’s taxi service, and with a newfound freedom to explore everything a new area has to offer, buses become a lifeline for students.
Our brief was to support Arriva to develop a hardworking creative campaign that would increase sales of the Arriva Student ticket.
We knew the student market was a lucrative one, but we had to change the way they thought about bus travel. We created #liveyourbuslife, a campaign that used the language of social media, and highlighted the benefits of a Student Saver ticket in a really bold way for the category.
It opened students’ eyes to the world of possibilities awaiting them with an Arriva Student Saver ticket in their pocket; without showing a single bus!
