眼底雜訊 Noise in my eyesVisually impaired people(VIP) are facing challenges in their daily life, and every VIP has different stories and struggles. The project aims to raise the awareness of the public and encourage them to understand and empathise VIP. In collaboration with the Hong Kong Society for the Blind, the project was proposed to launch products produced by the Factory for the Blind so that people could purchase for donation.
What is the noise?The noise in analogue TV was taken as a metaphor of visual Impairment, imagining your eyes is a tv, and you live in your own movie. Although it’s imperfect, it can be beautiful in its own way. As the dots are randomly placed, it also metaphorises the relationship of people, there are stronger bonds and loose bondings, rather close or loose bond are neutral, neither good nor bad. It is ever-changing, and we, as a part of society, can always stay curious to understand each other.
