Align is a pen inspired by the German Gestalt psychology on the theories that explain how the human mind tends to organize information intuitively. We aimed to create an object that uses intuitive impulses of the human behavior to operate its mechanism while changing its appearance when used. The result is an exquisite pen that breaks away from the standards of the market, an elegant sculptural object that contains an innovative mechanism.

The pen´s body is divided into three parts, being the middle one unaligned with the rest when the pen is closed. To use the pen you only need to follow your instincts and align this middle part with the rest of the body. This will leave the back part of the pen unaligned. To close the pen you will need to align this back part again to its original position.
