The Added Extra
Cocoa Plus aimed to create a bar that tackled the problem of lacklustre snacks for the fitness industry. To match this they would need a fresh brand identity, which reinforced and expressed the all-natural and delicious product Cocoa Plus had to offer. This creation is the beginning of a simple, clean and honest brand identity to help Cocoa Plus reach their goals of being a big contender in the fitness food industry.

A Recipe For Success
To determine the essence of the Cocoa Plus product and brand, a close working relationship was developed with the founder of the start up company, Samuel Victor. This enabled the brand identity to be fully developed from the ground up. The design process began by building a unique brand strategy – establishing the ‘personality’ of the brand, and analysing both the confectionary and fitness food industries – helping to identify opportunities to create something new. This approach laid the groundwork for later design exploration and the development of multiple creative routes, ensuring the outcome was pushed to its full potential.

Less Is More
The Cocoa Plus brand has been designed to appeal to both men and women with passions for health and fitness. We created the identity to be applied across a wide range of outcomes, without difficulty, including packaging, website and advertising. Combining a minimal graphic language and refined colour palette, the design is representative of the selective choice of natural ingredients that Cocoa Plus prides itself on combined with honest and bold tone of voice.
The result is a simple yet bold aesthetic for Cocoa Plus that stands out against the current, crowded fitness food industry.
