Dear

My name is Cliff Sainsbury. I have recently graduated with 1st class honours studying BA (hons) Media Production/Animation at Northumbria University at Newcastle upon Tyne in June 2006.

Throughout my three years of study I have created several documentaries, animations and short-films. Ive also produced many story-boards for pre-production, also engaging in technical and theoretical issues concerning all aspects of pre-post production. I have filled roles of Director, Cinematographer, Art Director, Producer and Set-Designer.

My education in Graphic Design and Fine Art has given me invaluable knowledge and great insight into the fundamental issues concerning visual representation. I have a vast portfolio consisting of various work which includes commissioned work, surrealist paintings and a series of magazines which I wrote, illustrated and sold around Newcastle upon Tyne, London, Scotland and Holland.

In my final year at University I specialised within the animation sector, having familiarised myself with a number of animation techniques. My objections are to continue to be inventive, avoid monotony, to strive for perfection and to successfully communicate images to a wider audience.
