My first design project at Kingston, in which we were asked to observe people in the kitchen and develop a product from our insights. Since then I have developed it for market and sold it in design shops.
An observation of my house mate holding the wooden spatula, he stirred his sauce with, against the pan while letting the water flow out sparked the idea for adapting a spatula for that purpose. I added holes, so the water can drain easily and changed the shape so that there is no gap through which pasta can escape.
