Claudio's work
About Claudio
To whom it may concern,
My name is Claudio Urbani, I am 26 years old and I am writing this e-mail as I intend to move abroad and I believe you might be the right agency to make contact with in order to find a position that could match my profile. I hold a Master's degree in Management and I have a 3 years' worth of experience in the field of Marketing/Insight.
Up to 22 months ago, I used to work at Procter & Gamble, as part of the marketing team. This job proved to be really challenging: I had to deal with unexpected situations, deliver high quality results under tight deadlines and work with different people. I have learnt how to feel owner of the project, to be extremely well organized and to take my own responsibilities. Besides, this job gave me many insights into a huge Fast Moving Consumer Goods company. I reported into the Shopper Marketing Manager and the aim of the job was to develop the businesses of P&G's top customers (especially Carrefour and Metro Groups) via promotional/in-store activities based on shoppers/customers insights.
Before that I used to work at Colgate-Palmolive, as part of the brand marketing team. I was in charge of assisting the Group Brand Manager (Home Care category: Hard Surface Cleaners and Fabric Softeners): artworks development, KPIs analysis, liaising with agencies, sell in and sell out analysis, market analysis, market research.
In December 2010 I started my experience at Sky Italia being part of SKY High Development program: a graduate program designed for providing broad and accelerated development to 10 selected candidates. My first assignment was as audience research & insights analyst. I was in charge of producing reports on a regular basis on audience data/channels' performance and helping internal clients to choose the best time slots for the events, aiming at improving audience performances. Moreover, I developed a clear understanding of the main media indicators used in the advertising industry. Besides that, I was the project owner of the switch over to a new audience data extraction software (from Nielsen Arianna to AdvantEdge, more than 100 users involved).
In November 2011 I was then given the position of Junior Product Marketing Manager. Among the other things, I was in charge of the communication plan of the New HD EPG, which allowed me to deepen my managerial/business skills (Market Research, ATL, WEB Marketing, Direct Marketing, Project Management), the analysis of the performance of Sky Go and the deployment of the Sky+ connectivity plan.
In June 2012 I have been appointed as Product Marketing Manager (Sky Multiroom). I am responsible for the upseling and ARPU targets and I manage a 2Mio budget and one direct report.
I am always looking for new challenging experiences and I am very much interested in working abroad in the marketing industry and I believe this might be the right time to move to another country.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
Claudio
