Mind the Gap is a 120mmx210mm booklet. Throughout this small booklet are various phone calls made between spectators and staff at the targeted Underground stations during the 7/7 attack in 2005.
Choosing a raw and controversial topic allowed experimentation with layouts and compositions of images in relation to the text. My goal when designing the booklet is to visually represent the day's events through the gradual chaos that dominates the colleges and the handling of typography. Accompanying this small booklet is a report that illustrates each design stage and why certain decisions were made.
