Vancouver Quidditch League (VQL) is a young, summer (beer) league which brings together all teams and individuals in Metro Vancouver with an interest in quidditch during the off-season.

Within the design of the mark, the three mountains represent Cypress, Grouse and Seymour Mountains - Vancouver's local and most prominent mountains on the north shore. Together, the hoops and the golden snitch bring quidditch to Vancouver. The type is based on a clean san-serif typeface, morphed to become more in tone with the style and shapes of the surroundings. It was important to use colour in a way that would not associate it with any quidditch teams in the area, so a fair few colour combinations were ruled out at the beginning. With the snitch becoming such a large part of the mark in the development phase - gold/yellow now plays an important part of the visual and strikes attention.
