About me

I have had extensive work experience in studio environments and the retail sector, giving me varied skills and the ability to work with many different types of people. I believe I could fit easily into your team. My experiences within the textiles industry over the past few years has increased my enthusiasm and passion for textiles and fashion. Being self employed I am able to organise my own time well and am self disciplined and motivated to meet deadlines.

In my current work I have explored different techniques, styling and ideas and am able to interpret trends in my own individual way. I source my own fabrics, colour ways and inspiration for each group and enjoy the challenge of creating a collection of ideas. During this process I welcome the opportunity to discuss my ideas with the agent and accept constructive criticism to move my work forward. When I have completed each group I am delighted with the end result and find it very exciting when I have seen my designs on the high street.

I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail. I'm flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others. I also have lots of enthusiasm and I am well organised. I am keen to work for a company with a great reputation and high profile.
