About me

I have 14 years experience working as a freelance technical Desktop Publisher, QA Specialist, Copy-editor and Proofreader, and, as a freelancer, I am always looking for extra contract work. I have always specialised in technical documents and publications in nearly all major languages.

I am expert in all aspects of desktop publishing and editing, and in all publishing software, including Adobe InDesign, FrameMaker, PageMaker, Quark Xpress, MS Office, Interleaf and Ventura. I am highly experienced in the whole DTP lifecycle and the localisation/globalisation process.

I have, in total, 22 years experience of proofreading, in a vast range of styles, including: advertising copy, sales & marketing literature (leaflets, brochures, presentations, etc.), websites, reports, technical manuals, user guides, financial documents, fiction & non-fiction manuscripts, legal documents, thesis/dissertations, magazines, and more.
