About me

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Claire Burton, I am a short girl with a tall imagination. With a height of 5ft 1 and an imagination that can create memorable design, I believe my skills and abilities would be an asset to your company. I am currently approaching the end of my degree in which I have practised multidisciplinary skills within graphic design. I have worked on a range of projects including, branding, creative advertising, editorial design, typography, photography, digital design, animation and design for print.

however I believe I can bring to you a diverse range of skills. In addition to my expertise InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, I also have experience in Art Directing, Social Media Marketing and Junior Design Training. I have recently been working with VIVA lifestyle magazine, where we have just finished working on the Summer 2015 issue. My role involved designing and assisting with the layouts for this issue and running the social media networks. In addition to my design skills I have excellent time management skills as demonstrated through my ability to multi-task with my internship at VIVA magazine and final year at university. I work well under pressure and I am used to working to strict deadlines in an organisational manner and with excellent interpersonal skills. I am happy to undertake any tasks that are asked of me and enjoy all aspects of the design process from undertaking research, to producing unique and memorable ideas, to then applying these to a design.
