About me
I am currently working as a Graphics Operator for MGN Limited, which involves typesetting, designing and processing adverts for national newspapers. This position also involves scanning images and cataloguing files ready for use, which requires attention to detail and working to tight daily deadlines. I have to proof read the adverts we produce requiring accuracy and making corrections. During my time as an Image Studio Technician at the KM I had to use a variety of scanners and gained knowledge of file formats and preparing files for print. The software I am trained to use includes Quark Xpress, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator.
My job has currently changed and I am now doing less typesetting and more of the processing of complete adverts. I am interested in this vacancy as I am keen to move into new environment and learn new skills.
