ABOUT

Annie Oakley Capital of the World
Brand Identity, Character Illustration, Map Design & Website
A full brand development and illustration project for the Annie Oakley Capital of the World — a regional tourism destination celebrating the life and legacy of the legendary sharpshooter in her hometown of Greenville, Ohio.

The project encompassed three interconnected deliverables. First — character development and illustration of Annie Oakley and her dog Dave, who serve as the welcoming face of the brand and appear throughout the site as the primary visual identity anchors. Second — an illustrated hot spots map of Greenville marking key visitor destinations including the Garst Museum, Downtown, and Shawnee Prairie Preserve — designed to orient visitors and bring the town to life in a warm, accessible illustrated format. Third — full website design and development built on the Wix platform, integrating the character illustration, map, and brand identity into a cohesive visitor experience.

The result is a tourism brand that feels rooted in place, approachable for families, and visually distinct — centered on original illustration work that makes the destination immediately memorable.
