Smart connections, better business.
Harnessing the power of collaboration, whether in design or in business, yields better results. In collaboration with B1SA, the brief was to rebrand and revitalise the B1SA Opportunities Network as B1 LINK, a professional networking platform that facilitates relationships between companies, to positively influence business growth and diversity.
Positioning B1 LINK as the platform of “smart connections, better business” places emphasis on the core offering as enabling businesses to find and connect with other companies. Reinforcing that this offering is the link in the chain that completes smart business connections.
The existing B1 LINK brandmark was refreshed and designed centred around the idea of discovered connections. The negative space of the ‘N’ becomes positive, especially after noticing it for the first time. Inspired by a notion of discovery within the B1 LINK offering, the brandmark therefore promotes the platforms’ benefit of discovering, creating and maintaining meaningful relationships.
The primary colour palette consists of Blue Black and Link Blue. The blue follows the convention of blue underlined hyperlinks, believed to increase click-through rates and encourage more digital engagement. The image style intention was formed to encompass a sense of collaboration, partnership and teamwork. The new B1 LINK visual language provides a smart upgrade that will continue to enable better business connections for the platform users.
