About me
I am a highly skilled Learning Consultant with 13 years' experience in the field of learning and development, 9 of those as an Instructional Designer/e-Learning Developer in both the public and private sectors.
I have designed and developed many online courses ranging from clinical programmes to system simulations and soft skills tutorials. I have extensive experience of all stages of the training cycle and in the use of pedagogical techniques such as scenario based learning and gamification.
I am an advanced practitioner of development software such as Storyline 2, Lectora and Adobe Creative Suite CS6. I can create system simulations, complex branched courses and high quality training videos. I have a keen eye for design and my attention to detail ensures the highest standards.
I have managed the majority of the projects I have worked on, using Prince2 tools, the ADDIE model of instructional design, and rapid development when required. I am highly experienced in assisting subject matter experts in producing the highest quality content with minimal impact to their daily duties.
As well as the design of e-learning content, I have also developed and implemented many learning management systems for blended learning initiatives, provided implementation consultancy and delivered IT training.
Personally I would describe myself as very friendly, pro-active and very enthusiastic for what I do. I have excellent communication skills and I can work independently or as part of a team. I am also happy to travel and I am available for immediate start.
