In the past I had visited the UAE as a young teen on several occasions, but only ever as a fleeting stopover to another destination, or to visit family, and never with the intention of setting out on an adventure. So when the opportunity to work with the Visit Dubai tourism board arose, and they asked me to produce some content that would display the natural beauty of the city and its surrounding areas, I of course said yes...
