As a photographer interested in portraiture, I'm always looking at the great portrait painter's work for inspiration. Of course the Dutch Masters and the Tudor era are part of that library. The millstone collar was an iconic part of the Tudor repertoire - a functionless fashion accessory favored by the wealthy to show their status.
