About me

Fast-learning, communicative, organised and hard-working individual with media related experience seeks work in film production and/or distribution and acquisitions.

While working as an assistant to a successful Berlin-based photographer, I acquired a range of skills applicable to the vital role of a production assistant. In addition to providing on site assistance during photo shoots, I made necessary pre-shoot arrangements for equipment and locations, communicated with press reps, and delivered film/negatives for printing and/or developing. From my experience in the field, I understand the importance of remaining calm in order to solve production related problems with precision and competence, as each minute wasted could mean going off schedule and/or over budget.

I also work well under pressure, having extensive experience in meeting tight deadlines efficiently and accurately. During my undergraduate years at Oxford and Columbia I honed my writing and research skills while studying Modern European History. In addition to the above, I speak fluent French and German, and have work experience in four countries. This set of cross-cultural communication skills would be particularly valuable for companies working with both the European and North American markets. In the global marketplace my education and communication skills offer a competitive edge for a company looking to explore opportunities with clients overseas.
