About me

I have been studying graphics and photography for several years now, as well as working commercially on a freelance basis, including being commissioned by Cameron Taylor Group as a photographer. Although photography is my passion, I work in all areas of design, including typography, packaging, time based and small areas of illustration. I also studied courses in calligraphy and paper craft/sculpture and packaging while on a scholarship to study Graphic Design in Philadelphia USA, at Drexel University. I was awarded the scholarship along with one other designer after being short-listed and as a result picked from a group of 30 other applicants.

On my return form Philadelphia, I undertook a brief for the D&AD student awards. The piece of work I produced for Olympus won a place in the 2005 Student Annual, and has provided me with many opportunities since. In July 2005 I was commissioned by the University of Northampton, along with two other designers produce a 68-page brochure for the school of the arts. As a result of this I co-founded 'Inodesign', a small design consultancy along with the two other student designers. Inodesign has been sole-trading along side our degrees since August and has produced work for clients such as Coke Cola, The University of Northampton and Giziano and Girling shoes. In 2006 a piece of my design work won a Commendation in the YCN design competition, and will be featuring in this years YCN publication alongside an exhibition in July.
