Merging three maritime veterans under a new brand. Babord, formes an unwavering rock, which represents 100 years of traditions within boat manufacturing, fishing and marine production. With a B2B target group, it was important to stand out as a bold, traditional but also innovative company, without alienating current relationships.
Along with the new name 'Babord' (port side), the slogan ‘Harbour to home’ was introduced, highlighting traceability and warm values.
Babord side was used as a key element throughout the brand. Cinematically, this is the direction of the return. We found an unsung hero of the Nordic fishing tradition; The fisherman’s wife. She is the safe Babord side, the side of return, which the fishermen out in sea guide themselves after.
For Babord, she is a mark of quality. Always positioned port side, looking out to the sea. She is complemented by a wave pattern that gradually becomes wavier, the further from the port you go.
The brand colours stand out from the competition, green and pink, giving the brand a touch of warmth, femininity and exclusivity.
The brand was implemented on several platforms, stationery, merch, packaging, gear and website.
