ABOUT
I made a mechanical toy in high school, which presented difficulties in the sense that it had to incorporate a working mechanism. This meant that the production and testing of prototypes was required, and thus alteration of the design was necessary. It tested my problem solving skills, but more importantly my research skills in finding new solutions to problems. For example, I used a CAD program to produce and construct my model virtually as a means of saving time and materials. Next time I would not hesitate to use CAD again, but I would use a better program so that I could include the mechanism in the computer model.
