ABOUT
Core Operational Scope
Multi-Stage Live Direction: Executing full live coverage across two dedicated festival stages (including the Bullhead City stages and the international Metal Battle arena).
High-Paced Multi-Format Switching: Seamlessly transitioning between raw, high-energy live metal performances, tight changeovers, and structured hosting/moderation segments (Moderationsstrecken).
Technical & Visual Control: Guiding camera crews, visual mix operators, and floor managers to capture both the musical dynamics on stage and the unique crowd energy, maintaining steady output over a grueling 4-day continuous festival schedule.
Key Demands & Strategic Challenges
Real-Time Adaptability: Live open-air environments offer zero margin for error regarding weather shifts, sudden schedule delays, or unscripted stage antics. Directing here requires fast visual decision-making and immediate prioritization.
Hybrid Coverage: Balancing the technical demands of a heavy metal concert broadcast (fast cuts, low-light stage lighting, high SPL audio coordination) with clean, concise talk formats for non-music hosting segments.
Scale & Pressure: Delivering a high-standard visual product for both local festival feeds and wider broadcast audiences under tight live constraints.
