Concept
Jordan Craig tapped me to design their first-ever sneaker—a historic step for a brand rooted in denim and streetwear culture. The vision was Bold Simplicity: clean, timeless lines with strong presence, refined details, and no unnecessary extras. I developed the Legacy 89’, a sneaker that blends heritage-inspired style with modern versatility—premium grained leather uppers, subtle overlays, and a padded tongue/collar for both comfort and a subtle skate-inspired edge. The idea was to create an Elevated Classic: a sneaker that moves effortlessly with the streets while staying true to Jordan Craig’s DNA.
Execution
I designed the JC Legacy 89’ with a vintage-inspired silhouette that nods to the golden era of sneakers while introducing Jordan Craig’s own identity into footwear. Every detail was crafted with precision—panels, stitching, materials, and finish all balanced for durability, versatility, and cultural relevance. Built from premium materials, the release was positioned as more than just a sneaker, but a symbol of transition—from denim to soles—marking Jordan Craig’s official entrance into footwear.
