This was a real 'feel good' project. A short animation produced for the UK based charity Excellent Development, it's purpose is to illustrate the principals, construction and benefits of Sand Dams - an ancient and cost effective method of water preservation in the world's drylands. The brief was for it to look simple, friendly and specifically "organic, not digital". It was produced in conjunction with a leaflet which used stills of the animation to show the process step by step. Modeled in Cinema 4D, textured, lit and rendered in Octane with grading, compositing and editing carried out in After Effects CC.
