About me

I currently work as a sub-editor and journalist for the Press Association in East Yorkshire, managing multiple print and on-line contracts for clients who are keen to engage more with their customers. I'm searching for an exciting opportunity to work closer to my home in Leeds and this position appears to be exactly what I'm looking for.

Sub-editing copy to make an article more compelling or striking for a specific audience is an integral part of my job, as is proofreading pages before they go to print.

I have a creative license in all of my work - from page layout and designs, to captivating copy, striking headlines and editing images to enhance their impact. I revel in this aspect of my job and enjoy the pressure and responsibility of coming up with new ideas.

My work involves creating pages for national press and corporate clients, appealing to a range of different audiences, and I show great communication and organisational skills to deliver a service that ensures we maintain contracts and encourage new business.
