I worked on the National Television Awards as a runner and assisted with the seat filling process be as efficiently organised as possible. On this production time management was the most important; it was my responsibility to make sure all the talent and presenters were ready and through hair and make up well before they were going on stage. As it was a live show there could be no mistakes so I worked calmly under pressure and always looked out for other members of the team.
