ABOUT
I always thought that if the world is going to end one day, the reason is not natural disasters, is not the hand of God, it must be because of human sin.
At the beginning of this project, I wish to create a series of photographs to reflect the human consumption behaviour and lifestyle – as I think they are doing something unreasonable. I wish to use photographs to make people aware and understand their consumption is harming the environment, and the harmful effects will impact on the next generation.
I've been to some parts of the world. In those places, people needed a handkerchief to cover their face if they wish to go out because the air is so bad. This leads me to think of an idea - if the basic needs of human - water and the air is polluted, what will happen to our next generation? Will human extinct? Or will they turn into another creature? I can imagine the future human may have green, blue or red skin.
As human beings, I strangely do not understand human beings. Why they know that if they keep cut down trees and making waste will make disaster to themselves, but no one wants to stop? Why you only need a few suits of clothes to keep warm, but keep buying more and more for no reason?
Is the human mind is so selfish?
Perhaps most people's minds are closed and one-way. Their thought are based on their own interests - it's like a closed window, although you can see what's happening outside the window, but people love to stay in the closed world they created inside the Window.
Can anyone look through the window and see the world inside? I don’t know…
