About me

I'm Chiara Del Gaudio, I'm 25 and I have just graduated from the Design department of Politecnico di Milano.

My studies, focused both on Product Design and Engineering subjects, have allowed me to understand design process, to move from design concept generation to detail design, to develope technical knowledge about processes (how they work, costs...) and materials, and to develope technical skills like CAD (2d/3d) design. To understand a problem and situation and to solve it.

At the same time during the last two years I developed a strong interest in System and Sustainability design.

Driver by passion I've acquired more informations about it.

First of all through lectures, and then through 7 months collaboration with the Research unit about Sustainable and Strategic Design of Politecnico di Milano (DIS: Design Innovation for Sustainability).

At the end, my thesis project, developed with prof. Carlo Vezzoli, dealed with environmental and socio-ethic sustainability.

I'm interested in society, I like observing and analyzing it, understanding changes and needs, new opporunites. I like catching new ideas and business. Every different thing is a new chance, a possibility, a new challenging view.

I'm a designer in the way I behave and I think.

I believe in 360° design: product, services, strategies...

I've a great desire of knowledge and of self improvement. I like daily challenges, and to fight to get what I want. I enjoy team work, and sharing skills and experiences.
